The Ball

As Comte and Comtesse Khlan went to greet the princess, their daughter, Memphis de Khlan was unable to hold herself back to join the crowd. She rushed down the grand staircase, despite her friend Yuki had already told her to calm down. 

Yuki sighed, she had never seen any vampire ─── especially someone who's over a hundred and thirty five year-old ─── acting like those silly hot headed teens.

"Try not getting your parents into trouble, alright?"

"I won't." Memphis respond with joyful laughter. "Where's Zhen-Yen?"

"Probably with Oscar.... Drinking, I guess."

"Hope he enjoys tonight's fresh blood!"

The young vampire boy and girl gave these two a sidelong glance as they passed by.

"Psst, Sirio." The girl whispered, "Everyone looks so gorgeous.... also the princess is here! I have bad feelings.... what if I stumble on my dress?"

The boy with a wolf skull mask spoke with his graceful, tender voice,"It's quite normal that you feel nervous, after she is the ruler of all vampires. Non ti preoccupare, you're doing very well, just enjoy the ball with these 'elder people'. "

"───I can hear you, young Palganino!"

"Ah quit yelling, Memphis!"

This is a scene from my novel(which, yes, still in in process), a mask ball held by a vampire family in a baroque mansion. For no reason I just feel I need to redraw it, so this is what it should be like in my imagination.
